About Chicken Little.
Chicken Little! plays fast songs, slow songs, waltzes and jigs.
They write spirituals to be protest songs and protest songs to be broken hearted love ballads. Cuomo is a punk turned folksinger who shouts and croons three chord acoustic songs inspired as much by The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock as by The Blitzkrieg Bop.
Emma is a classically trained choral singer & pianist raised in North Carolina
on appalachian bluegrass and old time country with a holler to match her vibrato.
Originally from Brooklyn, where Cuomo spent years singing solo in the subways
and running off on quixotic tours, the two became a duo in early 2008 when a friend
found an accordion on the street and gave it to them.
Traveling the south on their first tour together they discovered a burgeoning
renaissance in acoustic and roots music and soon after moved to Tennessee
to find a place for Brooklyn folk music in the new movement.
Their optimistically titled debut The Sky is Not Falling is available on their website as an online ep or on CD.

About the Idyllists
THE IDYLLISTS are a group of four musicians from Los Angeles, CA.
The indie rock quartet consists of British frontman Ian Webber, guitarist Matthew Barge, bassist George Mohler, and drummer Sam Gallagher. The Idyllists put a modern twist on 60s Britpop and mix it with traditional American pop sensibilities, ultimately creating timeless rock & roll -- California style. The group is currently performing live and recording new material with 3 additional members. These new additions include Colin Ritchie (lead guitar), Nick Light (rhythm guitar), and Daniel Dempsey (Hammond organ).
While the majority of working class citizens spent their late hours crafting dreams, like any other night shifter, THE IDYLLISTS were busy plucking away at theirs. The four young, tightly-knit Los Angeleno musicians used the iconic, fast-paced Sunset Boulevard and many long, late nights as the motivation and inspiration for THE LONG HOURS BETWEEN SUNSET & MORNING. The same concrete that Charles Bukowski, Jim Morrison, Elvis and millions of other dreamers and believers once strolled through provided the influential backdrop for British frontman Ian Webber, guitarist Matthew Barge, bassist George Mohler, and drummer Sam Gallagher. The famous 22-mile boulevard bends through an eclectic mix of lifestyles, cultures, and social statuses that pass through the gates of Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, Bel-Air, and Beverly Hills to the back alleys of Los Feliz, Silver Lake, and Echo Park. The album's title, dedication and musicianship found within are equally pertinent to the sweat and tears exerted from Oxford Street in London, Beale Street in Memphis, 6th Street in Austin, or Yonge Street in Toronto.
If there was ever a time where America needed to recognize and embrace its roots, that time is now. THE LONG HOURS BETWEEN SUNSET & MORNING plays like a throwback to drive-thru movies, Sunliner convertibles, carefree walks along the water, and romance -- all while maintaining relevance to 2009. The 11-track debut delves into the same life and love struggles found not only in the glorious days of the 50s and 60s, but also in today's world. The Idyllists not only prove that they could've been The London Fog house band or found amongst Rodney Bingenheimer's vinyl collection during the 60s, but also a steady mainstay directly across the street at The Viper Room in modern day 2009.
The album's catchy lead single "You're Gonna Break My Heart Someday" addresses the preconceived heartbreak involved with carrying on a painful relationship that will inevitably crumble in the end. The Sunday morning ballad "I Think It's Going to Rain" explores the hardships and sacrifices made in long distance relationships, while the punchy, wildly infectious "Lucky Stars" pays homage to the great feeling found from being in love. THE LONG HOURS BETWEEN SUNSET & MORNING is the perfect companion to a short trek along Route 66 or a long adventure spanning across Interstate 10.
The Idyllists' debut album THE LONG HOURS BETWEEN SUNSET & MORNING was self-released in 2009. The album was self-produced along with David Cobb (Oak ridge boys,Chris Cornell, Shooter Jennings, Nico Vega) and recorded in LA with engineer Greg Gordon (Oasis, Hot Hot Heat, The Ting Tings, Hank Williams III, Supergrass, Jet, The Thrills)and mark rains(black rebel motorcycle club).
THE IDYLLISTS' debut and newly released album is available through iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby, Rhapsody, and other fine retailers.

Amo Joy is a 4 piece psych-pop band from Indianapolis IN. Fueled by a love for kazoos, slide whistles, loud guitars and cartoons, Amo Joy has released 2 full length records, "The Dictatorial Soiree" (self-released/out of print) and "Theophrastus Bombastus" (Royal Rhino Flying Records), has embarked on 8 national and regional tours, and is on the brink of nationally releasing a new record "The Sane Design" on Indianapolis- based Standard Recording Company. The Sane Design was initially planned to be two self-released 7" EPs consisting of new songs and songs from the out of print record, The Dictatorial Soiree. Standard Recording showed interest in the project and soon after, the 2 EPs became one 12 song vinyl LP. With the freedom of being able to stuff the records with whatever they wish, Amo Joy and Standard decided to include a 20 page hand-made Amo Joy activity booklet, along with liner notes, in every copy of the record. The Sane Design is NOW AVAILABLE in record stores nationwide on Standard Recording's website and online at all of your favorite MP3 stores. As for our name... what happens when a little kid named Adam can't pronounce his name and watches a lot of Sesame Street? He calls himself Amo (pronounced ae-moe). His parents think it's cute and it turns into a life long nickname. What, then, happens 20 or so years later when he and his bandmates are surrounded by a certain kind of candy bar wrapper trying to come up with clever band names? You do the math...

A little bit of press...
It's time to create a new playlist on your iPod—in between your work-out mix and your soundtrack for the road, you can file Amo Joy! under "Songs to Skip To." Get these playful, toy-orchestrated numbers in your earbuds and you'll be bouncing and bounding through cotton candy clouds with glee. Even if the lyrics are surprisingly dark at times, Amo Joy! (pronounced "ae-moe") writes melodies for fair rides, circuses and petting zoos... Syd Barrett would approve. Michelle Gilzenrat, Flagpole magazine
"this is Amo Joy!, beauty through the juxtaposition of random oddities. I am obscenely excited by the whole raucous experience, I want to follow them around the country in a big battered bus and sing the wrong lyrics to Pet Sounds with conviction. It was the kind of show which makes me want to carry a pen around for the rest of my life so I can tattoo their name on to random people's hands all across the world." - Fran McDonald, Athens Exchange
"A completely delightful group, only the biggest Scrooge could resist their goofy charm"- punk rock skunk
"...slightly psychedelic anthem indie-rock. Imagine Destroyer going carefree, and you're close. " - Grayson Currin, The Independent
"If you've ever thought about creating a kazoo troupe, you're too late. Indy's psychedelic "magical mystery band" Amo Joy beat you to the punch... All the jovial Amo Joy needed was a tuba player to replace the bass parts in songs that needed hearty "oompahs" and clowns balancing on giant rubber balls for more novelty."- Leslie Benson, Nuvo
"They match the absurdity of psychedelia with pop likeability to craft skewed masterpeices. Their music is the optimistic alternative to angst-ridden bands like Margot and the Nuclear So and So's. Amo Joy's songs are free of soul searching angst and chock full of... Joy." - Barfly
"Their psychedelic pop tunes are sure to be a hit for the E6 fans, saturated with kazoos, singalongs, and a nice helping of melodica." - The Flat Response

"...surprisingly smart. If you like Ben Folds...you will be left with that mental acuteness and cracked smile that comes with being cheered up. Eichler’s voice is...husky yet so stretchable and tangible, inescapably endowing the record with a loveable quirkiness."
DJ Doublestuf - KZSU Zookeeper online
"...Margrit’s music is smooth and punchy and swells like the cry of a ringmaster demanding you understand how difficult the trapeze really is."
Daniel Blue - Top Stories Tacoma
"True Margrit is one of those delightful enigmas I'm lucky enough to encounter now and again. The songs on The Juggler’s Progress ...always come back to the essential elements of good pop music: strong melodies, mind-bending chord changes, and hooks that stick in your head. Highly recommended."
David Bash, Founder/CEO - International Pop Overthrow Music Festival
"...wild woman keyboard player has the heart and soul of a gifted chanteuse..."
Michael Cronin - Teenage Kicks
"True Margrit's Seaworthy is a collection of Margrit Eichler's clever and sea-salty ruminations on space, time, vanity, and ethereal connections. Those who ... want to hear a singer-songwriter whose words and music stand up for themselves, should give this album a listen."
Laurie Koh - San Francisco Bay Guardian
"Eichler's songs have their own sexy, anxious take on interpersonal politics....the language and Eichler's delivery have a surreal edge...that bridges the gap between what you hear on the radio and what sticks in your head."
Dmitri Ragano - San Francisco Bay Guardian
"Margrit is a genius in the vein of Pete Townsend."

Hi it's me KD of the TLB
From the bottom of our hearts the TX LadyBugs want to thank you for the time taken to visit the new website.
The TX LadyBugs has been a dream come true literally for me. I have been a performing singer/songwriter musician for over 30 yrs. One of my longest dearest mentors "Big" Bill Lister nicknamed me "Lady Bug" when I was a part of his weekly Hill Country Opry show when I was thirteen yrs. old.
Mr. Lister passed away Dec.1,2009 and I am still selfishly grieving over being stuck here on the ground without him to share with. He suggested I start an all girl band a couple of months before his passing. One thing led to another and I saw confirmation of this idea come to light literally.
Then I dreamt that Mr. Lister and I had a conversation about it all and we discussed the name of the band. In his gentle deep southern drawl he exclaimed.."Well you have to call it The TX LadyBugs!". It is what it is now and I'm going to make Big Bill Damn Proud!
You might ask..."KD all you've done so far is work your ass off creating graphics, a website, and auditioning and collaberating with any and all supporters that believe in your dream!
All your doing is blowing smoke and flashing a cutsie cowgirl riding a bug!"
My replay is..."True, and like with any product there is some research and preperation to go into the foundation of that concept/product. A band is only as great as it's weakest member. Music is only as pure as the artist sharing it! It's only as heartfelt as the being that grabs it out of thin air, creates it and shares it!
Happiness is only real when it is shared!
So welcome to TX LadyBug country and we ask one promise of you!
Stay In Touch and BUG US about what's going on in your world!
Who knows you might hear about yourself in a song!

About Katy Boyd and Benny Wain
Boyd and Wain are an award winning English and American Acoustic Folk duo.
They make music for people who still like to think, laugh and tap their toes.
Katy’s songs are fresh and witty observations on society today, the very definition
of the modern folk song. Benny’s fiddlin’ is just plain brilliant.
Winner of the Village Pump Festival Unsigned Artist Competition.
Boyd and Wain have just finished their first album, out on Goldtop Recordings in 2010.
They are playing major festivals all over the UK this year, and are off on a great US tour
in the spring 2010 taking in all of Texas, Nashville, and California.
Katy Boyd is an award winning songwriter.
After winning the prestigious West Coast Songwriter’s Association’s annual song writing contest years ago, Katy ran off to England for adventure. And stayed.
Benny Wain was born into a musical family, playing fiddle with his family’s folk band

and the Popes, the Dubliners and Davey Arthur. Benny’s bright red Electric Violin
is the result of an endorsement by Bridge Violins.
